One killed in stampede at cinema hall

ANANTAPUR:
One person was killed in the stampede during release of a Telugu feature film `Athadu' at Tadipatri in Anantapur district on Wednesday. One Masthan (24), an auto-driver by profession and die-hard fan of Maheshbabu, died in the stampede during the issuance of tickets for the third show.
According to the police, Masthan had been at Jayalaxmi cinema hall making arrangements for the release of his matinee idol's film since Tuesday night. He watched the movie in the first two shows screened in the theatre and he was attempting to watch the film for the third time in a row.
