HYDERABAD: As part of its 40th anniversary celebrations, "Celebrate Singapore" invites tourists to the island city for a series of events during the month through its channel partners. It opened with "Carnival@Marina" between August 6 and 14, a massive playground where the entire family will be treated to stunning fireworks and inspiring music. Speed lovers have "Auto-Trail" where local and international teams will take part in the Quarter Mile Drag Exhibition. Between August 18 and 21, thrill-seekers have the "Skydive Festival." Participants and spectators will be treated to aerial displays for over four days. It will be followed by `WOMAD' between August 26 and 28, a festival featuring class musical acts from around the world. No trip to Singapore is complete without shopping. Tourists can look forward to Marina Bay, City Link Mall, Esplanade, theatres on the Bay. Marina Square, Millenia Walk, Raffles City and Suntec City have come together to bring exclusive Celebrate Singapore privileges and events to Singaporeans and visitors. According to a press release, visitors in August can collect a booklet of coupons from select travel agents (Akbar Travels of India, Ascon Travels, Plus Travels, Satellite Travels, Travel World Interserve, Uniglobe Sameera Travel), where exciting deals await them.
