Drivers beware, camera ahead

Examining driving licenses and papers appears to be the priority of the traffic police here as there is no serious step to check rash driving.

Things, however, may be changing. A speed camera given to the traffic police here is expected to bring about some discipline on the road.

The camera can record the identity of the speeding vehicle, the time and date of driving and the speed. It can `capture' pictures of fast driving vehicles and they can be used as evidence for booking the drivers, policemen here say.
