GUNTUR: Special Officer for floods C. Umamaheswara Rao met with an accident near Duggirala in Guntur district on Thursday, but escaped with minor injuries. Mr. Rao, who went round several villages in Guntur district that were flooded again on Thursday, was returning to Guntur when a tractor-trailer hit the district Collector's official vehicle in which he was travelling. District Collector G. Jayalakshmi returned in Joint Collector Rahul Bojja's vehicle earlier to attend a videoconference. Mr. Rao received minor scratches on his face.
