NMDC hands over dividend cheque

HYDERABAD: National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) has declared a dividend of 114.5 per cent for the year ended March 31, 2005. A decision to this effect was taken at the annual general meeting of the corporation. This is a quantum jump from the previous best of 35 per cent paid for 2003-04. The NMDC Chairman and Managing Director, B. Ramesh Kumar, handed over a cheque for Rs. 148.87 crore to the Union Minister for Steel, Chemicals and Festilizers, Ram Vilas Paswan.
