L&T consolidates Gulf business
CHENNAI:
Larsen & Toubro and its Oman-based subsidiary have expanded their presence in the Gulf region by securing five contracts cumulatively valued at Rs. 467 crore for the construction of major water supply projects and several high-rise buildings and luxury condominiums. In the Gulf, Larsen & Toubro (Oman) has secured two contracts valued at Rs. 195 crore from the Ministry of Housing, Electricity and Water of the Sultanate of Oman. In the UAE, the company's construction division won three orders in the urban infrastructure sector accounting for Rs. 272 crore, a company release said.
