Essay contest for teachers

CHENNAI:
Scholastic India will celebrate `Teachers' Day Honour,' with an essay competition for teachers. They invite teachers to write a 500-word piece on `The idea that made a difference to my classroom.' The idea need not be in a classroom. It could be the science lab, the play field or the school assembly. The best 100 entries will be awarded on September 5, Teachers' Day, after a panel of educators, writers and editors sift through entries. Send the entries to Scholastic India, 14, 29th Cross Street, Indira Nagar on or before August 15.
