ANANTAPUR: The Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar Jain issued a list of 39 persons on Wednesday on the charges that they were indulging in extortion and other criminal activities all over the district. He set a 72- hour deadline for them to surrender. The list included a Congress MPTC member from Tagarakunta village in Kanaganapalli mandal. He was bound over by the CBI in Paritala Ravindra murder case as a suspected facilitator a few months ago. The list also included advertisement personnel of a regional newspaper here. In a press statement on Thursday, he said that the list was prepared based on the information collected during the interrogation of few criminals who were arrested by the police and on the information provided by `victims.'
The list
The list includes, Narayana Yadav of Balepalli, Suri and Nallapa Reddy of Elakkuntla, K. Hanumantha Reddy of Tapovanam, Manohar Reddy and Srinivasa reddy of Topudurthi, Janganmohan Reddy, Maruthi (an Intermediate student) Shafi Bayapu Reddy, Madhu, Rammmohan Reddy, Krishnakumar, Adinarayana Reddy (an advertisement staff of a regional newspaper) and Sridhar of Anantapur. Besides, Suryananarayana Reddy of Chennekothapalli, Ramaswami Reddy and Thimma Reddy of Maruthipuram, Subbi Reddy Venkatampalli, Ramakrishna Reddy of Pyadindi, Shivalinga, , Narayana, Akkulappa and Venkatesh of Maddelacheruvu, Babu of Nagaluru, Baskar Reddy, Rami Reddy, Nagi Reddy and Nagender Reddy (Congress MPTC member) of Tagarakunta. Vannuru Reddy of Chigicherla, Krishna Reddy and Jayanagi Reddy of Dadithota, Bhaskar Reddy, Tirumala Reddy and Narayana Reddy of A.Naryanapuram, Adinarayana Reddy and Rawoof of Dharmavaram, Hanumantha Reddy of Venkatagiri Palyam and Seenu of Marthadu were the others named in the list. At Kalyanadurg, the CI, A. Srinivasulu, also released a similar list of 37 persons with the charges of indulging in criminal activities.
