THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Security at the Sabarimala Temple complex will be tightened during the coming festival season in view of the terrorist attack at Ayodhya, Minister for Dewaswoms K.C. Venugopal has said. Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, the Minister said that the police had been asked to take steps towards this, including installation of closed circuit television cameras at various places. Police would also take steps to enforce the ban on use of plastic bags at the pilgrim centre. Beggars would be denied entry to the temple complex. Mr. Venugopal said that repair of all roads leading to Sabarimala would be completed before November 10. Extensive facilities would be made available at Nilackal for drinking water supply, sanitation and parking of vehicles.
