Officials told to complete works on time

MADIKERI: : The Kodagu Zilla Panchayat Administrative Officer B.L. Sridhar, on Thursday, called on officials in the district to formulate time-bound programmes and complete development programmes in the district within the stipulated time.

Presiding over the KDP meeting to review the progress of various departments, he told officials to stick to schedule so the benefits of the programmes reach the people. Officials should identify the beneficiaries of programmes and complete the groundwork to implement the programmes after the monsoon, he said.

Mr. Sridhar asked the Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Panchayat K. Sundar Naik, to ensure the implementation of the programmes.

A sum of Rs. 5.79 crore had been mobilised in the district under small savings in the first quarter of the current financial year.
