COIMBATORE: Discussions on artificial intelligence, computer communication systems, digital signal processing and cryptography will be the highlights of a national conference, `Emerging Intelligent Information Technologies', to be held at the Karpagam College of Engineering on August 12 and 13. A release said that the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology and Master of Computer Applications was organising the conference along with the Department of Training and Placement. Infosys Technologies Ltd., Chennai, was sponsoring the event. The aim of the conference would be to investigate tools and developments that supported the "discovery, processing, exploitation and dissemination" of information and knowledge. Organisers had selected 34 for presentations during the event. Five technical sessions would be conducted in two days and there would be three keynote sessions.
