ADILABAD: Some 8,300 acres of land would be distributed to landless poor especially tribals on August 21 as part of the second phase of land distribution in Adilabad district. At a video conference on Thursday Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao asked the district administration to ensure proper distribution of such land to the 3,220 beneficiaries. In order to make it a meaningful exercise, the district would get a special economy package of Rs. 6.21 crores needed for development of land distributed among the poor. He said the beneficiaries would not only be given the title deeds of the land distributed, but, they would also be shown the proper location of the land both physically in respective survey numbers and on the maps.
