HYDERABAD: Customers can take advantage of concessions in interest rates, on-the-spot sanctions and flexible payment options at the Mega Loan Mahotsav to be organised by the State Bank of India (SBI) from August 13 to 16 at the Institution of Engineers, Khairatabad. "There are a host of attractive options for the customers to benefit from and the focus is on providing all loans under one roof," H.C. Pattnaik, General Manager, SBI, said at a press conference here on Thursday. He said home loans have been tailor-made and EMIs could be structured according to the customers' paying capacity. They could be availed of at one per cent less than the normal rate. Mr. Pattnaik said documentation process for car loans would be simplified apart from concessions in the interest rate. Special packages have been designed for specific target groups like PSU employees and IT companies. He said sanctions would be given on-the-spot and free accident insurance would be available to all home loan, car loan and two-wheeler loan customers. They would be entitled to a free SBI card, ATM card and Internet banking. M. Bhagavantha Rao and C.H. Narasimha Rao, Deputy General Managers, were present.
