Man murdered
Staff Reporter
BANGALORE:
A 45-year-old man, Krishnappa, was dragged out of his house and hacked to death, allegedly by his cousins over a property dispute at Mugulur in the Sarjapura police station limits on Wednesday.
According to the police, the accused persons also attacked Krishnappa's wife, Rukmanamma (38), when she intervened. At about 11 p.m. on that day, the assailants allegedly dragged Krishnappa out of the house and attacked him with choppers. He died on the spot, the police said. The assailants are at large.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a property was divided between Krishnappa and his cousins in the morning on that day. But the cousins were reportedly unhappy with their share, the police said.
