`Delay in moving apex court will benefit cola firm'

Staff Reporter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The National Alliance of People's Movements (NAPM) alleged here on Thursday that the Government was deliberately delaying the decision to appeal against the High Court order on renewing the licence for the cola plant at Plachimada. A pressnote quoting NAPM state convener T. Peter said the delay would help the cola company.

The NAPM had withdrawn its agitation on the Government's assurance that it would move the Supreme Court against the verdict.
