BANGALORE: H.V. Seshadri, Akhila Bharat Pracharak Pramukh of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, passed away here on Sunday following medical complications. He was 80. Mr. Seshadri, who hailed from Bangalore, was for long considered next only to the RSS chief in the matter of seniority and the respect he commanded. He was in the intensive care unit of a city hospital and was shifted to the RSS headquarters at Shankapuram here where he passed away, as per his wish. The former Prime Minister, A.B. Vajpayee, the BJP President L.K. Advani and the RSS chief K.S. Sudarshan will attend the funeral to be held at the Chamarajpet crematorium on Monday afternoon. Mr. Sudarshan is cutting short his tour of the United States and is rushing here. The body of Mr. Seshadri will be kept for public darshan at the Mahratta Hostel on the Bull Temple Road.
