London: Narain Karthikeyan's veiled threat that he is exploring other options as well for the next Formula One season seems to have some effect on his employer Jordan which has announced that the Indian would be considered for another stint with the team. Jordan Sporting Director Adrian Burgess revealed here that Jordan, which will be rebranded as Midland F1 next year, was eyeing BAR test driver Anthony Davidson in order to establish its driver line-up for the next season. Confirming that Jordan was considering both Karthikeyan and Portuguese driver Tiago Monteiro, Burgess said the team would look beyond the pay-drive option. ``We are talking to drivers for next year, including our current two, Tiago (Monteiro) and Narain (Karthikeyan) and it's not the case that we have to have two paying drivers,'' he said. On Davidson, Burgess said, ``We would definitely be interested in Anthony, as he is a good talent.'' ``If we had a driver of that experience and ability, he'd be able to tell us a huge amount about the car and how to develop it,'' said Burgess who was Davidson's race engineer in Formula Three. Davidson, however, expressed his wishes to race for BAR even though he ruled out another year of testing.
