Ranipet BHEL wins international award

VELLORE: The Boiler Auxiliaries Plant (BAP) of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Ranipet, has won the International Asia Pacific Quality Award (IAPQA), being the best of its class in the big manufacturing capacity, according to S. Sathyanarayanan, General Manager of BHEL, Ranipet. The IAPQA has been established by the Asia Pacific Quality Organisation (APQO), a non-profit organisation that serves as an umbrella group that brings together all of the leading quality professional societies from countries that border on the Pacific Ocean, or are considered Asian nations. Only those companies that have won quality awards at a national level in their respective countries are eligible to apply for the award.
