DINDIGUL: : An unidentified gang murdered Manoharan (38), head constable attached to the Palani Malai Adivaram station at a wine shop on Palani Road here on Tuesday evening. The police said the body bore 17 stab injuries. Mr. Manoharan was posted to the Palani Adivaram station on punishment transfer from the Dindigul north station. He came to his brother's house here on Tuesday morning for a condolence. The police sent the body to the government hospital for post-mortem.
