Radha-Ranga Mitra Mandali organises `annadanam'and medical camps

VIJAYAWADA: Offering a helping hand to the flood evacuees, members of the Radha-Ranga Mitra Mandali conducted annadanam and medical camps at Krishnalanka and surrounding areas for eight days at a stretch, till Monday.

Food was distributed to evacuees in the relief camps set up at Bhupesh Nagar, Ranadeep Nagar, Tarakarama Nagar, Nehru Nagar, Ranigarithota, APSRM High School and VM Ranga High School. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were given to over 10,000 evacuees everyday.

The Vijayawada East MLA, V. Radhakrishna, lauded the efforts of the members of the Mandali.

Later, Mr. Radhakrishna inaugurated a blood donation camp organised by Madhuranagar Chiranjeevi Yuvatha to mark the Independence Day.
