Training camp inaugurated

WE ALL keep reading about railway accidents, their aftermath and the rescue operations that follow. Railway employees, apart from their usual chores, also learn the basics of first-aid and how to cope with emergencies and natural calamities.

The St. John Ambulance of the Railways has participants who have won prizes at all-India meets. and most are active blood donors.

Some have registered for eye donation also. The eighth training camp of the Railway's St John Ambulance Brigade was inaugurated on Thursday by Divisional Railway Manager Mahesh Kumar.
