President coming today

BANGALORE: The President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam will arrive in the city on Friday night on a two-day visit. He will stay overnight at the Raj Bhavan. He will attend public functions on Saturday. At 9.40 a.m. that day, he will inaugurate a conclave on "Leadership" organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry at Windsor Manor.

At 11 a.m., he will inaugurate the national summit of the All India Motor Transport Congress at the Palace Grounds. He will deliver the J.R.D. Tata memorial lecture at the National Institute of Advanced Studies at 2 p.m. He will leave for Delhi at 6.10 p.m.
