NLFA denies bid to kill Apang

KOHIMA: The National Liberation Front of Arunachal (NLFA) has denied any attempt on its part to kill Pradesh Chief Minister Gegong Apang, on August 15 while he was on his way to take part in the Independence Day celebrations.

A release issued by NLFA publicity secretary, B. Dollung, here on Friday objected to Mr. Apang's statement, which blamed the NLFA for the incident.

The NLFA asked the Chief Minister to probe the matter, and added that it would not tolerate such accusations, the release added.— UNI
