THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Coca-Cola company said on Friday that it was reviewing the order of the State Pollution Control Board, directing stoppage of production at its Plachimada plant, and was studying its implications. The company is also considering future steps, including submitting the matter for judicial review, an official statement by the company said. The Plachimada Aikyadardya Samithy welcomed the order and urged the Government to enforce it urgently. "The order will be a great relief to the people of Plachimada," it said, but wondered whether the company would comply with the order. Going by its past record, the company would not spare any effort to undermine the order, it alleged. The samithy said that the company should be prosecuted if it did not comply with the order.
