THRISSUR: The police have arrested 30 staff of the Paramekkavu Devaswom for launching an agitation in front of the Devaswom office, adjacent to the Paramekkavu temple, on Saturday morning. The police said the staff had gathered in front of the Devaswom office in protest against the suspension of the watchman, Sankarankutty. The Devaswom authorities called the police, who then arrested the protestors.
