KAKINADA: The Andhra Pradesh Medical and Health and Vydya Vidhana Parishad Employees Union at its meeting here on Saturday, with K. Suryanarayana Raju, president in the chair, has appealed to the Government to release the salaries of contract para-medical employees, numbering over three hundred working in various cadres in the district, due for the past four months. In a resolution, the union has alleged that the Government was dodging the decision on extending concessions, FTA, IR and PRC scales to the contract para-medical employees. It regretted that the Government has released a GO on July 29 releasing only one-month salary, which was nothing but eyewash. The union has further alleged that those working as ANMs under the European funds were not getting salaries for the past six months and similar is the case with the ANMs working in Urban health centres.
