ERODE: Expecting heavy discharge in the Cauvery river from the Stanley Reservoir, the Erode district administration has alerted people living on the banks of the river to move to safer places. Following a directive from the Collector, D. Karthikeyan, Revenue officials evacuated those residing near the river to the nearby community centres.
