Contests for schoolchildren

CHENNAI: : Sevalaya Trust will hold oratorical, essay, poetry and a written quiz contest in Tamil on September 2 on the following topics: Bharathi's vision of India; Salt Satyagraha — a turning point in Indian independence movement and Swami Vivekananda — the brave monk. Students can choose any one of the topics.

The quiz contest will be based on the life of the three leaders.

Each school can send two students for each competition and the total number of participants should not exceed 10.

Those interested may register by writing to Sevalaya,

Kasuva Village, Pakkam Post (near Tiruninravur) 602024 before August 31.
