Bad journalism

The Supreme Court's notice to the Centre and newspapers on titillating material is timely. Pullouts have become the order of the day for every newspaper. Advertisement-oriented, they carry trendy things to match the paper's commercial interests. What is disturbing is a disproportionate focus on matters of fragile interest that do not match the quality standards of the main journal. In other words, the pullouts have become a platform for rule-less journalism.
