HYDERABAD: The Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, unveiled a statue of Neelam Sanjiva Reddy, former President and first Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, in front of the Secretariat, on Sunday.

As soon as he arrived, Mr. Singh went to Mrs. Nagarathnamma and helped her sit on the raised platform at the foot of the statue. He pressed the button to unveil the statue and paid floral tributes.

Meeting Neelam's family

Later, the Chief Minister introduced Congress leaders to Mr. Singh. At the instance of the Congress MP, N.
