Assumes charge as SEZ head

KOCHI: C. J. Mathew has assumed charge as Development Commissioner of Cochin Special Economic Zone. An officer of the 1988 batch of the Indian Revenue (Customs and Central Excise) Service, he was till recently Additional Commissioner of Customs, Kochi. He has also served as Assistant Director, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, and as Deputy Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission, says a release.
