VISAKHAPATNAM: For the convenience of the public, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to provide halts of the Bhubaneswar-Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Konark Express at Sompeta and the Howrah-Secunderabad-Howrah Falaknuma Express at Ichchapuram with effect from September 1. The stoppages would be on an experimental basis for six months, according to an ECoR spokesman at Bhubaneswar. The 1020 Bhubaneswar-Mumbai Konark Express will arrive at Sompeta at 6.16 p.m. and leave at 6.18 p.m. every day. In the return direction, the 1019 Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Konark Express will arrive in Sompeta at 12.59 a.m. and leave at 1.01 a.m. The train would leave Ichchapuram at 1.18 a.m. instead of 1.14 a.m. The 2703 Howrah-Secunderabad Falakhmuma Express will arrive at Ichchapuram at 5 p.m. and leave at 5.02 p.m. In the return direction, the 2704 Secunderabad-Howrah Falaknuma Express will arrive at Ichchapuram at 9.01 a.m. and leave at 9.03 a.m. The timings and stoppages for all the four trains at other stations would remain unchanged, the spokesman said.
