COIMBATORE: The district administration is planning to deliver the "corrected" family cards at the residence of more than 45,000 applicants. According to a release from Collector S.Kosalaraman, the administration received 11,00,717 applications for family cards up to March 7 this year. So far, 10,54,665 cards have been renewed and distributed. As many as 48,550 have given applications requesting certain corrections in the new cards. Based on that, minor corrections have been carried out in 45,210 cards and they would be delivered at the residence of the applicants by the Taluk Supply Officers. However, in case of major corrections involving 3,340 applications, steps have been taken to print new cards. They will also be delivered soon at the residence of the applicants.
