Free eye camps

COIMBATORE: Moses Gnanabaranam Eye Hospital will conduct free eye camps at Doss Medicals, Senjerimalai, on August 27 and at Bharat Matriculation School, Sundarapuram, on August 28.

Sri Ramakrishna Gastro Enterology, Endolaproscopic and Hepatobiliary Surgery Centre, Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, will conduct a free liver camp on August 27 on its premises.

The expert committee includes liver transplant surgeon from Indra Prastha Appollo Hospital, New Delhi, Dr. M.R. Rajasekar. PSG Hospitals will organise a free Osteoporosis Camp on August 29 on its premises from 8.30 a.m.

Men or women above 35 years, regular smokers or alcoholics, women undergoing menopause, regular users of steroids or pain killers and those having back, joint and neck pains can attend the camp.

Launched

Siloam Thomas Eye Hospital has launched Eyecon - 2005 to provide quality eye care to the underprivileged.

It means Eye Care Offered Nominally, according to a release from the hospital.
