MADURAI: Madurai District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association has planned to conduct a seminar on export potential opportunities to African and CIS countries (Commonwealth of Independent States) here on Friday. The one-day programme, to be held at Hotel Sangam, will throw light on various sectors such as food, rubber, textiles, chemical, pharmaceutical, plastics, etc. Claiming that there were tremendous opportunities for Indian goods to be exported to African countries and CIS nations, the president of MADITSSIA, S. Aravind, said almost all the restrictions were withdrawn to facilitate global business.
