BHEL wins KREDL award for solar energy products
NEW DELHI:
Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) has won Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Ltd. (KREDL) award for development and installation of renewable energy products in the state. BHEL has supplied and commissioned solar power systems for various applications in different parts of Karnataka. Its solar power systems have been deployed for water pumping, banks and police stations in rural areas. The award was presented by the Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Karnataka, H. K. Patil, at a function organised in connection with the Rajiv Gandhi Akshay Urja Diwas.
