PONDICHERRY: The management of the Pondicherry-based Shri Vaishnav Samaj has drawn up programmes to celebrate Sri Krishna Janmashtami at Navaneethammal Thirumana Nilayam on Anna Salai here from 9 p.m. on Friday and programme would go on till 1 a.m. next day. The Pondicherry chapter of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) has also drawn up programmes to hold the celebration in Jayaram Thirumana Nilayam in Sithankudil under the chairmanship of the Speaker of the Assembly, M. D. R. Ramachandran.
