Punjab & Sind Bank gets capital infusion

NEW DELHI: Punjab & Sind Bank will shortly get Rs. 500 crore capital infusion from the Government that will enable it to come out of the red and tap the capital market by 2007. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs on Thursday approved the Rs. 500-crore package, Finance Minister P. Chidambaram said briefing newsmen here.
