Jain monk stresses on vegetarianism

`Non-vegetarian food pollutes people's minds'

KAKINADA: Jain monk Sri Prashant Rathna Vijay has called upon the Jain community to stop consumption of non-vegetarian food to keep themselves away from the incurable diseases such as cancer.

"Those who renounce flesh foods are equally rewarded as those who perform an yagna,"he said.
