ANANTAPUR: Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate A. Jayaraj here on Thursday postponed the hearing on the bail petition of Virasam leaders P. Varavara Rao and G. Kalyan Rao in the Madigubba case to August 29. The police (public prosecutor) urged the court to give three days custody of the two leaders in the case for conducting an identification parade and interrogation. However, counsel for the Virasam leaders R. Harinatha Reddy contended that only an hour was needed for identification parade as well as interrogation as the case was very much clear. After hearing the arguments of both sides the judge posted his decision to August 29. Of the 38 suspects in the case 21 have already secured bail.
