New Delhi: In another first for Indian golf, Arjun Atwal has leapt to the top of the putting average list on the USPGA Tour. Atwal displaced American Ben Crane from the top slot with an average of 1.701 putts per hole in the 53 rounds that he has played on the Tour this season. The Indian is also ranked an impressive fourth on the birdies average list averaging 4.13 birdies per round. While World No. 1 Tiger Woods was placed 15th on the list of putting averages, Vijay Singh had to be content with a 57th position. Ben Crane, who topped the list last week, was placed second behind Atwal with an average of 1.715 in 50 rounds. PTI
