HYDERABAD: The Bharatiya Janata Party has alleged irregularities in voters' list and demanded holding of all-party meetings in municipalities and corporations to discuss various civic poll issues. Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, the BJP State president, N. Indrasena Reddy, said the authorities had not so far furnished the lists to the BJP in at least 40 municipalities and proper rolls were not given wherever they were supplied.

A BJP delegation would lodge a complaint with the State Election Commissioner, he added. He said the location of polling stations was also still not finalised and the all-party meetings should look into this and other issues, including reservation of wards. Charging the ruling party with indulging in wrongdoings, he wanted the SEC to take action against the officials who were responsible for them.
To contest all seats
The BJP has decided to contest all the wards and divisions and give opportunity to new faces. The manifesto would be finalised at the office-bearers meeting to be held on September 2. It would be released in the first week of next month. Mr. Reddy named in-charges for districts and municipal corporations in connection with the elections. He criticised the move of Muslim MPs of various parties to meet the Congress president, Sonia Gandhi, and the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, to seek 5 per cent reservation in jobs and employment.
