BANGALORE: Veteran cueist and ace coach, Arvind Savur, was delighted that the Dronacharya Award has finally being conferred on him. Savur told The Hindu: "It was a long time coming and I expected it some years ago. I didn't get it and I thought I never would and now that it has come, I feel right on top of the world." He said that the award was a recognition of his love for cue sports, especially snooker, and his role in producing a World champion, Pankaj Advani. Commenting on Pankaj's defeat in the World under-21 championship, Savur said, "The pressure of a being World champion is surely telling on him. But let us not count him out as he is still very young." Special Correspondent
