Power shutdown

The following areas will not have power supply between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on August 27 owing to a shutdown for maintenance works at the Thudialur sub-station:

Seeranaickenpalayam and surrounding areas, Pappanaickenpudur, Vadavalli, Marudamalai, Vedapatti, Veerakeralam and Selvapuram.

Music show

The Air Warriors Symphony Orchestra performance scheduled on August 25 on VOC Park Grounds was cancelled due to heavy rain. The programme will be held on August 26 at 6 p.m. at the same venue, according to a release from the district administration.
