YSR congratulates Arjuna awardees

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy conveyed his greetings and felicitations to Arjuna award winners J.J. Sobha (athletics), Sania Mirza (tennis), J. Krishnan (rowing) and Achanta Sarath Kamal (table tennis) on Thursday.

In a message, Dr. Reddy said each of these sportspersons have made the country proud with their landmark achievements.

He hoped that these awardees would bring more laurels in the years to come and also inspire younger generations.

Naidu's message

The Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu also congratulated Sania Mirza for winning the Arjuna award.

Her nomination was an honour for the State, he said and hoped that she would go to on win many more awards, he said in a message.
