Farm land purchase rate increased

HYDERABAD: The Government has enhanced the unit cost for purchase of agriculture land for the landless Scheduled Castes farm workers to Rs. 60,000.

The landless agriculture labourers will now get Rs. 60,000 instead of Rs. 40,000 fixed earlier for purchase of land.

The Government will provide subsidy of Rs. 10,000 and margin money of Rs. 12,000 while the remaining amount was loan sanctioned by the National SC Services Cooperative Society, according to a press note.
