NEW DELHI: The National Museum's three-day workshop-cum-seminar held to deliberate on the technique and development of Rajasthani paintings concluded here on Thursday. Delivering the valedictory address, the doyen of culture, Kapila Vatsyayan said: "The big question that faces practitioners of this form of paintings is whether they should keep the form alive in the same way as the old, or should they include their observations that they see in the modern world. This is not a question about art, but dictated by the demands of the market.'' The workshop brought together experts from Rajasthan to talk philosophy and techniques used by artists.
