NEW DELHI: The Bar Council of Delhi has lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against four of the 35 law students of Bundelkhand University as they had allegedly applied for enrolment on forged provisional certificates. For verification, the Bar Council had sent the certificates to the University authorities, which informed that Prem Singh, Diler Singh Verma, Tej Pal Singh and Sameer Sahu had submitted forged certificates. Terming it to be a serious matter, the Bar Council stated that a case in this regard had been lodged at Tilak Marg police station. In all the four cases, the candidates' names had not been mentioned. "It also seems that there may be more cases of enrolment on the basis of forged certificates and all the records are being scrutinised and may be sent for further verification from the universities concerned," said a Bar Council release.
