Police on the alert against possible naxal influx

BANGALORE: The Commissioner of Police, Ajai Kumar Singh, on Thursday said the city police are on the alert following a ban imposed on the Communist Party of India (Maoists) and its frontal organisations by the Andhra Pradesh Government. He said the city police have taken steps to check the possible influx of naxalites from Andhra Pradesh following the ban there.
