Ayyanar Mills bags safety award

MADURAI: Sree Ayyanar Spinning and Weaving Mills, located at Iluppaikulam village in Tirumangalam taluk of Madurai district, has been chosen for national safety award in two categories for 2004. According to S. Ashok, Managing Director, the mill has been chosen for the award for achieving the lowest average accident frequency in three consecutive years and for the longest accident-free period in three consecutive years. The mill is a member of Pioneer Asia group of Sivakasi.
